Reinventing Flyover Corvetto
In the book ‘Reinventing Flyover Corvetto’, Federico Parolotto, CEO of MIC-HUB, is one of the experts interviewed by Francesco Vescovi for Milano Urban Center.
Together with Luca Mangia, Lorenzo Mattozzi and Demetrio Scopelliti, Federico Parolotto presents his ideas in a dialogue around infrastructure regeneration.
The book presents the results of the international competition ‘Students Reinventing Cities’, sponsored by C40, to reimagine the Corvetto area in Milan.
This neglected area is strongly characterised by car-centric infrastructures inherited from 20th century modernism. The area now requires a new design and purpose to provide a fresh landscape and functions for a contemporary city.
The book is an opportunity to debate the urban changes that have taken place in the city in recent years and the changes that are needed in the future.
