Central Moscow bus network "Magistral"

The new bus network for central Moscow has been operational for 2 months now. Ridership has boosted by 40% on the Kremlin Ring, by 17% within the Garden Ring, and daily data observations prove that it keeps growing.

Designed by the Moscow DoT – with the support of of the team led by JWA (Jarrett Walker Associated), with MIC-HUB together with Urbica – the bus network masterplan reconfigures the old network providing a more efficient and direct routes layout.
