Senior Transport & Logistics Planner

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a professional with solid experience in logistics and reverse logistics within the transport sector, with a specific focus on conceptualising, planning and optimising supply chains, estimating and forecasting freight demand, and assessing the wider impacts of freight traffic on the overall transport system.


The selected candidate will join multidisciplinary teams working on national and international projects and will contribute to the development of studies, analyses, and models supporting the planning of logistics and transport systems.


Main Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• analysing and planning logistics and freight transport systems;

• studying logistics flows, supply chains, and distribution networks;

• estimating transport demand and developing quantitative analyses to support planning activities;

• developing short, medium and long term logistics scenarios at urban, regional, national, and international levels, with a particular attention to technological innovation, urban integration, sustainability and future-proofing;

• supporting the preparation of feasibility studies, logistics plans, mobility plans, and technical documentation;

• collecting, processing, and interpreting data related to demand, supply, flows, infrastructure, and transport services;

• working closely with internal teams, clients, stakeholders, and technical partners.


Required Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• a degree in Transport Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Urban and Regional Planning, Transport Economics, or a related field;

• at least 5 years of professional experience in the transport sector, with a focus on logistics;

• experience in analysing freight and/or passenger transport demand;

• knowledge of transport planning methodologies and key quantitative analysis tools;

• the ability to process data, develop scenarios, and prepare structured technical documentation;

• good written and spoken English;

• willingness to work on international projects and in multidisciplinary environments.


Preferred Qualifications

The following will be considered an advantage:

• experience with transport modelling software, GIS tools and logistics planning and optimisation software;

• knowledge of data analysis tools, databases, and programming languages;

• experience on projects related to urban developments, intermodal terminals, freight terminals, logistics corridors, distribution networks, or transport infrastructure;

• experience preparing transport studies, logistics plans, or demand studies for public authorities, private operators, or international institutions.

Mobility Planners - Senior Consultant

We are looking for creative and pro-active Senior Engineers, Architects and Urban Planners with 6 or more years of professional experience to join our dynamic team in Milan.

Candidates should have an appreciation for design and a passion for transport and mobility, as well as a successful track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating complex work flows.

We are seeking experienced, quick-learning staff, able to adapt to articulated and multi-layered client interfaces.


Skills required include: you should be able to organise, manage and coordinate the team, solve problems with a positive attitude, communicate effectively, presenting to and interacting with large groups of people, and interfacing directly with the client.


Fluent English is a must for the Senior Mobility Planner position.

Traffic Modelling Engineers - Junior Consultant

We are looking for an enthusiastic JUNIOR TRAFFIC MODELLING ENGINEER eager to learn and grow within our team. The candidate will have knowledge of mobility management, traffic impact studies, traffic network optimisation and transport planning.


The applicant should be familiar with specialised software for creating, validating and analysing macro and micro traffic models. A strong willingness to learn and work with transport modelling software is essential.

Tender and Acquisition Department

We are looking for someone to join our team to manage tender processes and participate in European tenders. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex projects, drafting documents for public and private tenders, and a good understanding of procurement processes in transport planning and sustainable mobility.


Key Responsibilities:

• Scouting and Monitoring: Daily analysis of procurement platforms (TED, Funding & Tenders Portal) to identify opportunities in line with our core business of sustainable mobility.

• Networking and Partnerships: Supporting the management of relationships with national and international partners for the creation of consortia (RTI) and coordinating documentation from subcontractors.

• Tender Process Management: Coordinating the entire proposal lifecycle, from verifying participation requirements (compliance) to the final submission of documentation.

• Documentation Preparation: Coordinating the preparation of technical and financial offers, including the collection and review of necessary documentation.

• Partnership Management: Supporting the maintenance of relationships with public entities, local administrations, and private partners, acting as the contact point during the tender phase.

• Reporting and Archiving: Monitoring deadlines and maintaining a database of past projects (technical references) and updated company CVs in the formats requested by the tenders.


Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Economics, Political Science, or Law.

• 3 years of experience in tenders and procurement, preferably in the engineering field.

• Excellent knowledge of Italian and English (written and spoken), essential for networking and drafting documents for international tenders.

• Ability to draft technical documents, reports, and presentations.

• Good organizational, problem-solving, and deadline management skills.

• Strong knowledge of European directives and public tender procedures.

• Knowledge of European public procurement regulations and major tender tools.

Head of Research & Development – Mobility & Transport Planning

To strengthen our Research & Development Department, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Research & Development to lead and coordinate innovative research activities in the field of mobility and transport planning.


The ideal candidate will have a strong academic and professional background in transportation theory and mobility-related topics, covering a wide interdisciplinary spectrum ranging from sociological and behavioral aspects to digital systems, big data analytics, and emerging technologies applied to transport studies.


The role focuses on the development of advanced analytical tools to identify mobility trends, understand travel behavior, and assess the complex interactions between people’s movements and the built environment. This position requires a solid research-oriented approach combined with strong leadership and project coordination skills.

Road Designer

With the aim of strengthening its Infrastructure Design team, MIC-HUB is recruiting experienced Road Designers, Infrastructure Designers and Civil Engineers.


We are looking for professionals with:

• Proven experience in road design;

• Excellent familiarity with the use of Autodesk AutoCAD 2D;

• Good knowledge of Sierrasoft Roads and/or Autodesk Civil 3D software;

• Competence in designing utility networks is considered an advantage;

• Experience of working on construction sites and knowledge of English are preferred qualifications.

Hydraulic Designers – Junior Consultant

We are looking for a Junior Road Designer, with 1/2 years of professional experience in the Infrastructure Design/Road Design sector.


Experience in the use of Roads and/or Civil 3D software is considered a plus.


MIC-HUB is looking for Junior Road Designer, Hydraulic Designers, Civil Engineers with a minimum of 1-2 years experience in the design field.


The candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Evidence of experience in the design of hydraulic works, particularly in connection with road design;

• Good knowledge of civil engineering design software (Autocad). Knowledge of Civil 3D and BIM desirable.

• Knowledge, even basic, of hydraulic design software such as Hec-Ras, Hec-Hms, or similar;

• Previous experience in road infrastructure design companies is considered an advantage;

• Good knowledge of English is a plus.
