Gaia Sgaramella - Senior Consultant
Mobility Planning Team
During my career, I worked in the research field. I’m a PhD in Architecture, Landscape and Planning and a distinguished scholar at Bernard & Anne Spitzer School of Architecture (CCNY).
At MIC-HUB, I’m working as a mobility planning consultant on several international projects, gaining experience, especially at the masterplan and urban scale. I have been consulting several renowned architectural firms, having the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects where transport and urban environment are thought of holistically.
It was a pleasure for me to be part of the winning team for the “C40 Reinventing Cities” competition for Piazzale Loreto, in Milan. Through its radical transformation from a traffic hub to a pole of destination, the masterplan creates a place where community life coexists with cyclable and pedestrian oriented spaces.
