Success of Magistral project

We are very happy to hear that the Stage 1 of Magistral project, the new bus network for central Moscow that since its launch in October 2016, has successfully reached the milestone of 500’000 daily boardings.

Designed by the Moscow DoT – with the support of the team composed by JWA, MIC-HUB and Urbica – the bus network masterplan reconfigures the old network providing a more efficient and direct routes layout.

“What the new network is doing now, in terms of service, is that it provides direct, frequent, comprehensible routes that follow the same streets in both directions”, said Magistral project manager, MIC-HUB senior consultant Ilya Petoushkoff.
