Luca Guala - Senior Consultant

Transport engineer holding a PhD in transport technique and economics and a longstanding international work experience in the field of transport and mobility planning.

I have a longstanding international work experience in the field of transport and mobility planning, particularly in Europe, Russia, Middle East and Africa during which I have dealt with sustainable mobility policies, interaction between mobility and urban growth, innovative, driverless transport systems and urban mobility networks, public transport and soft mobility.

I'm currently senior consultant at MIC-HUB where I deal with issues related with sustainable mobility policies, innovative, driverless transport systems and urban mobility networks. I have undertaken research on the assessment of mobility choices at the University of Cagliari and I have worked in the fields of transport of dangerous goods and of the assessment of environmental noise.

Previously, I have been employed as chief engineer by the Perm City Project Bureau (Perm, Russia); as senior consultant and project director with MLab - Mobility ThinkLab (Cagliari, Italy) and Systematica Srl (Milan, Italy). I have undertaken research activity on the assessment of mobility choices at the Center for Research on Mobility Models (CRiMM) of the University of Cagliari.
