Ischia and sustainable mobility
With more than 60,000 registered vehicles, almost one for every inhabitant, the island of Ischia is wondering how to move towards sustainable mobility.
To find solutions, the organisers are inviting a number of national experts to a conference organised by the Premio Internazionale Ischia di Architettura (Pida).
The conference will take place at Villa Arbusto, Lacco Ameno, on Friday 24 May at 3 pm.
Federico Parolotto, CEO of MIC-HUB, will be among the experts invited to speak and propose strategies and solutions for a sustainable transition.
Other speakers include:
Valentina Orioli, Councillor for Mobility of the City of Bologna, the first major Italian city to become City 30, and
Domenico Lanzilotta, Director of ‘City Vision’, a platform created to contribute to the intelligent transformation of territories.
“The event will be a joint brainstorming session, aimed in particular at the administrators of the six municipalities of the island of Ischia. We thought it would be useful to accelerate a vision of sustainable mobility in an area that, by vocation, should focus on a slow dimension”, says Giovannangelo De Angelis, President of Pida.
