MIC-HUB at the Università degli Studi di Milano

MIC-HUB’s City Futures department will contribute for the second year to Prof. Ruben Baiocco’s Urban Planning and Design II course at the University of Milan.

Within the module Mobility and Territory, our City Futures research department will offer the students of the course a perspective on the role of mobility planning in a sustainable and equitable way, promoting the development of quality of life for local communities.

Federico Parolotto, Mirko Franzoi and Delia Valastro will work with the students through lectures and practical activities, highlighting the territorial marginalities that generate an unequal spatial distribution of services, with a particular focus on public space and road safety for active mobility.

We will also accompany the students in workshop activities that will explore the urban marginalities of Milan, in particular the San Donato area, questioning the current conditions and possible developments.
