Mobilità in città participates in the Città per le persone podcast

The Mobilità in città foundation supports the innovative podcast ” Città per le persone” by Cittadini per l’aria Onlus. The podcast tells the story of how our cities can be transformed to improve quality of life, reduce the risk of injury while crossing the street or cycling, and reclaim public spaces for social interaction, while also decreasing traffic congestion and improving air quality.

Città per le persone gives a platform to activists and experts in planning and mobility who are working to create cities that are accessible, safe and shared, putting people and their needs at the centre.

The four episodes address distinct themes: road violence, urban mobility, the use of public spaces and air quality.

Each episode takes listeners on a journey through Bologna, Rome, Milan and Turin, concluding with an examination of best practices in European cities such as Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris and London.

Gaia Sgaramella, director of Mobilità in città, is a guest in the second and third episode, where she discusses public transport and accessibility.

The podcast is written and narrated by Ilaria Bartolozzi and produced by Intreccimedia with the support of the Cariplo Foundation, the Clean Cities Campaign, the Mobility in the City Foundation, the Municipality of Milan’s Second District and Lime.
