Road connection works for the Milan 3.0 neighbourhood
Work on the road connections for the Milan 3.0 neighbourhood in the Basiglio area, south of Milan, is nearing completion.
Starting as a concept design by studio Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia, the residential complex for 260 flats consists of six buildings connected by a pedestrian walkway through the surrounding nature.
MIC-HUB was responsible for designing the internal and external road system for the complex, connecting the new development to existing infrastructure and ensuring safe access and circulation for pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles.
MIC-HUB was involved in all design phases, from the preliminary to the final and executive designs, actively contributing to the creation of a functional, safe and integrated road system in line with the urban development of the area.
MIC-HUB has been collaborating with Starching, the team responsible for the architectural design and coordination of the project. Milan 3.0 is an initiative of Dea Capital Real Estate SGR through the High Garden Fund.
