Romanian Cities Summit

Mirko Franzoi, MIC-HUB Project Director, will be among the speakers at the first edition of the Romanian Cities Summit, taking place at the Palace of Culture in Iași, Romania, on 23 – 24 April 2026.

 

Mirko Franzoi will give a lecture entitled ‘10 Things Cities Can Implement NOW for Better Traffic’, providing valuable case studies and actionable examples showing how mobility can be a powerful lever to shape better cities, connecting innovation, sustainability, and urban quality.

 

The Romanian Cities Summit is a new national initiative focused on providing concrete solutions for the development of Romanian cities. Bringing together over 300 leaders from public administration, investment and finance, architecture, and civil society, the Summit will encourage discussion on topics such as urban planning, mobility, public-private partnerships, affordable housing, urban regeneration, innovative financing models, and the role of the creative industries in local development.

 

Developed by the IULIUS Group, through the IULIUS Foundation, TILIA – Today’s Ideas and Leadership In Action aims to turn ideas into strategies and strategies into impact for the future of Romanian cities.

Mirko's presentation will take place on the Main Stage of the Palace of Culture in Iași, Romania, on Thursday, 23 April at 15:30.
