We are delighted to attend the 10th edition of the international conference titled Urban Planning & Architectural Design for Sustainable Development (UPADSD), organised by IEREK – International Experts for Research Enrichment and Knowledge Exchange at the University of Florence, from 21st to 23rd October 2025.
Delia Valastro, Senior Research at the MIC-HUB City Futures Research, will present the initial findings of a research we are developing with Roadscor in the session focused on Sustainable Mobilty and Pedestrian Space with a presentation entitled ‘Towards Vision Zero: Digital Innovation to Enhance Risk Analysis Assessment for Safer Active Mobility’ on Tuesday 21st October.
The study was co-authored by Luca Guala (Associate Unit Director at MIC-HUB) and Robbert Lohmann (Roadscor).
Roadscor and MIC-HUB are working together to enhance road safety by using an advanced conflict simulation methodology.
Roadscor aims to provide traffic engineers and cities with the most complete, accurate and easy-to-use tool for the safe road design of intersections to enable the elimination of road fatalities by 2050.
